Designed to be printed on your inkjet printer at home, the Hahnemühle Certificate of Authenticity was developed to protect the security and genuineness of your limited edition art works and reproductions on Hahnemühle paper and to reduce the risk of forgery.
Your certificate order will contain blank 8 1/2 x 11 sheet(s) of premium deckle edged mould made certificate paper and two matching serialized hologram stickers for each blank certificate.
The paper has the Hahnemühle watermark and fluorescent security fibres. One serialized numbered hologram should be added to this. A second, identically numbered hologram should then be applied to the reverse side of the artwork or print.
The combination of certificate and hologram assures that each Certificate of Authenticity relates to one particular piece of art.Text and layout of the certificate can be created individually.
IMPORTANT Before printing your certificate you should first print a test certificate with a piece of regular blank paper. Customers will need to re-order a new certificate or use a different paper if they make any mistakes when printing on the supplied certificate paper. Make sure you use an appropriate paper setting when using the certificate paper to eliminate the potential of paper jams or misprints.
There is no set format for a certificate of authenticity however you can view an example of a certificate here.
