Framed prints are normally shipped within 3-4 working days of the order date. Maximum lead time for framing is 5 working days. Some exceptions may apply for special stock, or extremely large orders.
Do you offer custom frame sizes or just standard frame sizes?
We do. In fact, because frames are "made to order" we do price our custom sizes any differently than those considered to be "standard".
Where can I find pricing for frames?
To price frames only, just visit our Frame Moulding Style page. Find the moulding you'd like to price, and click the blue Order Frame button to calculate frame cost.*
Does glass come with my frame?
Glazing is optional and must be purchased separately.* ("Glazing" is the term we use to refer to having your work behind glass). FinerWorks currently does not offer actual glass as the glazing but instead provides a safer and common framer’s alternative in the form of clear acrylic (plexiglass). Acrylic provides an advantage to glass by being lighter and less likely to break during shipping.
*If the glazing selection is not visible during the order process, simply add a border to your print to enable the options. This will not affect your print or frame size.
Do you offer framing for metal prints?
Yes. You can order from a wide range of frame styles however in order to do this, you will need to order the “panel only” style to open the frame options. This will allow you to choose the frame you want.
What is the smallest or largest frame you offer?
Just visit our Frame Moulding Style page to view the sizes we offer.
Are your frames made of wood?
We offer 2 types of frames, solid wood or polystyrene. Most of our all wood frames have a laminate coating.

How can I customize the size of the matting on my framed print?
You can customize your frame's matting. Keep in mind that including matting with your framed print will automatically increase your frame size by a minimum of 3 inches. To adjust the size of your matting, simply adjust your frame's width and height and the matting will automatically adjust to match the frame size.

What is glazing?
Glazing is the term we use to refer to having your work behind glass. The purpose of the glazing is to provide protection to your prints. It is not necessary in all instances of a framed print as is the case with a framed canvas, but for prints on fine art papers it is recommended since it protects against scuffing and direct contact. FinerWorks currently does not offer actual glass as the glazing but instead provides a safer and common framer’s alternative in the form of clear acrylic (plexiglass). Acrylic provides an advantage to glass by being lighter and less likely to break during shipping.
Do you offer non-glare options or UV protection with your acrylic glass/glazing?
We do. View our Acrylic Glass page to view options for acrylic glazing.
