GeoGalleries prices prints at three times the standard FinerWorks print cost (frames and mats are not included in this markup).
Artists can also earn 10% shared revenue on any frames, mats, or glazing that are added to the order. Because of this, offering your artwork framed and matted is strongly recommended.
When a print is sold, GeoGalleries keeps a seller’s fee. This fee includes:
- The base cost of the unframed print (what the artist would normally pay FinerWorks), and
- An additional 10% administrative fee, calculated from the unframed print cost.
Example:
If a large canvas print costs $100 at FinerWorks, GeoGalleries will list it for $300.
When the print sells, the artist receives the remaining amount after the $100 print cost, and a $30 administrative fee is deducted
