Don Brown

The archive of Donald Hazen Brown's artwork showcases his lifelong passion for creativity. Donald obtained his education from Emory & Henry College and Drew University Theological School, where he earned two master's degrees. Donald's artistic journey included studying under renowned artists such as John Costigan and Jerri Vanderhoef. He honed his skills in watercolor painting at the Rockland Center for the Arts, where he showcased his work publicly for the first time in 1983. Even in retirement, he continued to share his knowledge by teaching watercolor classes in various community programs. Donald's dedication to his craft is evident in the meticulous detail and vibrant colors of his paintings.

Married to Gail Bridegam Brown for 53 years and a father of four, Donald's legacy lives on through his artwork.
