Phillip John O'sullivan

Born in Palmerston North, New Zealand in 1949, Phillip O'Sullivan began his artistic journey under the guidance of artist Sydney Charles Smith before studying at the Canterbury School of Fine Arts. Throughout his career, O'Sullivan has become known for his work as both an abstract painter and a figurative artist, utilizing various mediums such as oil, acrylic, charcoal drawing, prints, oil pastels, and watercolor. With over 40 solo gallery exhibitions and museum shows under his belt, O'Sullivan has established himself as a prominent figure in the art world.

During his time at the Petar-James Gallery, O'Sullivan collaborated with esteemed artists like Milan Mrkusich, Gordon Walters, and Richard Killeen.
