Born on the U.S. Naval Base Subic Bay in the Philippines in 1981, Justin grew up on the East Coast in Virginia and Maryland. His artistic journey led him to study graphic design at the Maryland Institute, College of Art in Baltimore, where he earned his BFA in 2003. Afterward, he made his way to Washington, D.C., starting his career as a freelance graphic and web designer with clients like B.E.T., The Peace Corps, and McGraw-Hill Publishing.
In his spare time, Justin immersed himself in D.C.'s vibrant music scene and took on creative and management roles in retail with companies like Urban Outfitters and Pottery Barn. In 2014, he made the cross-country move to Boise, Idaho, to be closer to his mother. Now based in Boise's historic Idanha Hotel, Justin continues to create stunning work while also visiting his father in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
