Portraits and Custom Artwork by Theo
 At FinerWorks, our staff artist and co-founder, James "theo" Theopistos
will take your existing photo and turn it into a work
of art.
The photo you provide will be used for reference and
the artwork painted painstakingly by hand, stroke by
stroke.
The
process uses a digital
stylus tablet and a painting program that will allow
him to create the painting within a matter of days (these
are not like most custom painting services you find advertised
which are assembly
line created paintings produced
in China and other Asian countries). The end
result is an actual work of art which will appear
like an original oil painting with all the vibrant colors.
Upon completion your print will be shipped to you as
a stretched and mounted canvas giclee print with a lacquer
varnish applied to it for luster and protection (optional
alternative media are fine art paper, matte canvas or
archival matte paper).
For custom prints, we offer a satisfation guaranteed
policy. If you are not satisfied with the final work
of art and print
we
produce
for you,
you
may
return
it
for
a
full refund.
The Process
- Contact us by phone or e-mail.
- We will set up your order and provide details to send your
picture
- Artist & illustrator James "theo" Theopistos,
will create the work of art and post it for your review (this
takes 1 - 2 days).
- Upon your approval of the finished painting, Finer Works
will ship your print(s) to the address you provide.

be setup by our staff and printed through our professional
custom giclee printing service which is used
here by every day by professional artists and
photographers from around the World. We will
archive your artwork so additional prints can
be ordered at the same time or later as needed. |

Requirements
- For portraits, a good original photograph (digital or print)
- For landscape, a good reference photo source (online, from
a book, etc.)
Tips for Best Results
- 4 x 5 photograph or equivalent digital picture or larger
is preferred.
- Subject matter to be "painted" should not have
any obstructions
- The eyes of any people should be easily discernable.
- A professional photo portrait yields best results.

size or smaller. A CD of the artwork can also be requested
for an additional fee. Very complex scenes or paintings with
