At the request of artists and photographers, FinerWorks offers
some custom options beyond the scope of our online ordering
system. While most customers are satisfied with the high quality
of prints that can be easily ordered online, some
have additional needs. These choices range
in price and availability.

Proofing
A set of 6 proofs will be printed side by side with slight adjustments
in hues, contrast and brightness levels. The series of proofs will be printed
to the canvas or other media option of choice. Clients can choose more than
one series of proofs if they wish to preview on multiple media types. Each
proof will be at a matching ratio to the original up to 8 x 10”. Clients
will be required to sign the appropriate proof and return to FinerWorks if
they choose to have prints made. These proofs will be printed on one sheet
and shipped to the client rolled in a tube. Pricing: $100 per set.
Gallery Wrapped prints
Gallery wrapping is the practice of stretching and mounting prints
in such a fashion that the canvas is secured by staples in the back of
the print and
hidden from view. Clients can choose to have the printed area wrap around
the sides as well. Pricing: Contact us with size and

Heavy duty stretcher bars
Heavy duty stretcher strips option allows the prints to be stretched and
mounted on deeper stretcher strips than the standard ¾” deep
stretcher strips. The heavy duty stretcher strips are 1 7/16” deep
and recommended for large prints. Cross bracing is reserved for large prints

Ultra protective coatings
Ultra protective coating goes a step above our standard protective finish.
This ultra protective coating acts as a liquid laminate on the surface of
the print as well as a preservative. In conjunction with our UV pigmented
inks
the ultra protective coating also includes UV inhibitors for extra protection
from fading. With the ultra protective coating your print has the potential
to last hundreds of years. Options include high gloss, semi gloss and matte.
Pricing: $0.04 - $0.06 per square inch.
