White, poly-cotton blend canvas, with a primed satin finish. A special resin coating holds the inks with high clarity. Images are brilliant and well saturated, making this canvas an ideal media for fine art reproductions or studio portraits.
Tip: If you wish to apply your own finish, FinerWorks recommends Bull Dog Ultra which is a lacquer based finish.
Formerly listed as "Premium Matte Canvas", this professional grade bright white, poly-cotton canvas, this canvas is thicker with a more pleasing canvas texture than the reguar matte canvas. The poly-cotton weave provides more resistance to humidity and shrinkage over time. The acid free coating offers improved ink saturation and better contrast over most regular matte canvases. Ideal for photographers and artists alike.
Tip: If you want to apply your own spray finish to this canvas, FinerWorks recommends ordering a small print or two to test with. Lacquer based finishes are usually the better option.
This is the very popular HP watercolor paper by Hahnemuhle used by artists and photographers alike. It is an acid-free, single-side coated paper with 50 percent rag showing a natural white finish with a slightly structured, soft-textured surface matte. This high-quality, mould-made paper is ideal for digital fine art reproductions.
Tip: FinerWorks recommends this for images with lighter or very well saturated tones since the matte finish on this paper will absorb some of the inks. Dark deep tones may not be as suitable for this paper.
This Archival Matte Paper features a smooth surface, heavy weight (230 g, 9.5-mil), neutral white, matte paper engineered for accurate color reproduction that provides high contrast and high resolution output. This paper is acid-free making it the perfect choice for both photography & fine art reproductions.
Tip: This paper tends to be more suited for larger prints. For small images with a lot of detail, the Enchanced Matte Paper might be a better choice due to its wider gamut of color and higher print resolution.
Same as the archival matte paper, however prints on this paper will have a higher color range and smoother color transitions. This heavyweight paper is an excellent alternative for small or large prints where details are not lost.
Tip: This is actually a photographers paper but after our Fine Art Paper, this is a popular paper with artists. Photographers looking for a matte paper alternative might find this the ideal choice for them.
This high quality 11 mil 300g paper answers artist’s and photographers’ requests for a high quality paper between a matte and a gloss, with excellent ink retention characteristics and a color gamut that is second to none. This paper maintains a traditional E surface finish, providing an elegant texture consistent to that of a traditional dark room print.

This paper answers photographers’ requests for a heavier, more substantial photo paper, with excellent ink retention characteristics and a color gamut that is second to none.
Tip: This tends to be more popular for photographs. Artists might want to consider the Satin Luster Paper if they still want a little "pop" to their print.
