Lisy Velazquez was born in Zaragoza, Spain, moving to Dorado, Puerto Rico at a later age. She has been painting since early childhood and acquired this talent without any formal training. Her artwork is inspired by a combination of memories of growing up on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, places traveled, experiences, and typical moments lived in the island, which have been interpreted onto canvas.
