I am a stay at home mom to two small children. I come from a very long line of self made artists. I have recently discovered that I seem to be drawn to photographing plants and flowers. Maybe what attracts me is the variant shades of green, or the way that some flowers glitter in a certain light...all I can say is that for now, it is my favorite medium.
My other works are varied, and include pen and ink comic book artwork (as yet unpublished), pastels (mostly still life), oil painting, pencil sketching, mixed media collage, clay sculpture, and even web site and logo design a la Photoshop.
Perhaps if time allows I will add copies of selected fine art works to my page as well.
As for the future, I am looking forward to a time when my children are old enough so that I might try my hand at forging and iron sculpture. But that is, for now, just a dream.
